Terms & Conditions

    • The reservation is for the person booking, who must pay with their valid credit card and provide government-issued ID.
    • Payment is processed on the day of check-in. Extensions must be paid at the time or by 4pm on day of extension.

    Rates are based on the number of beds in each cabin.
    In the Hummingbird, Raven, Eagle, and Cub House, rates are based on total bed setup, whether 1 to 4 guests are booked in. The Bear Guest House or Bear Studio House, if you need an extra bed, we can set up the pull-out couch or a twin cot for $25 per person, per night plus 15% tax.

    • We require the names of all guests and vehicle info at check-in.
    • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit, Debit Visa/MC, e-Transfers (Sleep@Chims.ca), and cash. A pre-authorization may be required with any form of payment.

    Guests must be out by 11:15 AM to avoid late fees. Staff are Paid Starting at 11am.
    Late check-out is $60/hr plus tax (1-hour minimum).

    • Early check-in or late check-out must be pre-approved and scheduled in advance.
    • Additional cleaning or repair charges are billed at $120/hr.

    Indigenous Tax-Exempt Rate:
    Available to First Nation Governments or guests who provide a government-issued Indian Status Card at check-in. Not applicable to Treaty Nations (e.g., Nisga’a, Tsawwassen, Maa-nulth). If you book through an Online Travel Agent such as Airbnb you are not entitled to tax exemption as your purchased from the OTA and not Chims Cabins Directly.

    Front Gate Notice:
    The front gate remains open but may close at any time without notice due to wind, snow, or safety concerns. Closure Notice and gate code will be provided if needed.

    Booking Platforms:
    If you booked through Airbnb or Booking.com, please note you are booking through a third-party OTA (Online Travel Agent). In the event of a reservation dispute or conflict, direct bookings made through Chims.ca take priority. Certain changes must be made directly through the booking platform you used

    Liability:
    Chims Cabins, Ed & Naomi Nicholson are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage due to any reason, including acts of weather, forest fires, or other events that may prevent or shorten your reservation.
